OU will host Notre Dame Saturday in the biggest non-conference game of the Stoops era and the biggest well since Notre Dame was here either in 1966 or 1957. The game is huge and the fans and media are pumped about the game and OU is ready for the challenge.
"Notre Dame is a very physical team with good skill and they have an idea what they want to do offensively," said OU defensive end Coach Bobby Jack Wright. "They are going to try to assault us at the line of scrimmage and we have to be strong at the point of attack and stop their run game. They have run the ball a lot in the last three games and they are in two-tight ends quite bit. Their quarterback Everett Golson can keep plays alive and we have to make sure we contain him and not let him scramble and get outside on us. We have had a good week of practice and we think we are ready for them and it should be a great game."
Some of the match-ups are very interesting in this game. OU's improved running game against the Irish rush defesne and OU's wide receivers against the suspect secondary of the Irish. I think OU has a lot better skill talent that Notre Dame and Landry Jones and his receiving crops will be the difference as OU will win 31-17.

OU 37 ND 13
defensively.......if we can't contain their run game then we are in big trouble.
offensively........if we have to max protect to give jones time then it will be a struggle offensively.
on the other hand
if nd can't establish a consistent run game and or we don't have to max protect every passing play then this game will get away from nd very fast.
i really don't have a clear feel for this game but i'm hoping for stalemates upfront.
OU-27 ND-13 BOOMER SOONER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm hell when I'm well.. And, I am never sick!
ND wins a close one late in the game
Notre Dame kinda reminds me of K-state. Not the same offense or defense but they are very well coached and they won't beat themselves. They play pretty good football but they are not spectacular.
I just don't think OU is going to make a lot of mistakes this Saturday like they did, albeit at home, against K-state. OU wins by two touchdowns I think. 27-13 range. If its more, I wouldn't be surprised. If less, than I underestimated ND.
That's who I am... a Sooner.
OU 24 ND 21 Honeycutt wins it on a last second field goal as expires
You think so... why? OL and DL? Or do you really think ND is that good? Just curious..
OU 38 - ND 17
Interesting Stat Line: Justin Brown has 2 TD receptions and 1 PR or KR
I feel you guys have the best chance to beat ND and I hope you do as I do not want to see these domers win out.
"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
45-10 Sooners romp and ND is shut out in the 1st half.

OU is going to use the no huddle to pass the ball all over the field! We will have about 60 pass plays compared to 20 run plays! ND will be worn out by the 2nd half.
OU wins big 35-7!
