Projected OU -vs- Neb in the Rose Bowl.
Fiesta Bowl ND -vs- aTm
Orange Bowl Florida At -vs- Rutgers
and I think in the Sugar Bowl its Alabama -vs- Louieville (not sure on this one)
Those idiots know less than the guys at the barber shop. Way too much football left to be played. The BCS will look totally different in a couple weeks.
I would be happy to play the huskers in the Rose Bowl. Don't want a rematch with ND in the Fiesta. After all, we play them again next season.
I agree that they don't seem to know much, but an OU-Husker game in the Rose Bowl would be nice.
There's no way that we would play Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. Consider that the Big 12 conference winner contractually plays in the Fiesta Bowl unless that team is selected for the National Championship Game. In this case, K-State would play in the NC game vs either Oregon or Notre Dame. If K-State (the Big 12's BCS representative) is chosen for the NC game, then the Fiesta Bowl would get the first selection from the eligible "at large" pool. Notre Dame most definitely would be that choice if they are not matched up against Kansas State in the NC game. The other three BCS bowls would then get to fill their slots before the Fiesta Bowl gets to choose again. OU would almost assuredly be selected for the Sugar, Rose or Orange Bowl if they are sitting there with a 10-2 record and their only losses coming against the undefeated #1 Wildcats and the 12-0 or 11-1 Fighting Irish. So, under hardly any circumstances can I see us getting a rematch with Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. Plus, since we play them in September of next season, do TV executives really want to see the same two teams face off three times within an 11-month period?
