At Kentucky per radio report
This post was edited by James Hale 20 months ago
Congrats to him; lots of coaching talent in the Stoops family tree.
And anyone noticing a "Wildcat" obsession? (KState, Arizona, UK)
I would think this only helps us with Levenberry.
that's a tough assignment..............better to stay at fsu and improve his stock perhaps??
Congrats I guess, but that's gonna be a hard row to hoe.
Good luck to him. Won't be easy.
For his sake, I hope he will be coaching basketball.
I think it is great he got a head job but why go to Kentucky?
I hear through my Florida contacts that he can't stand working with Jimbo and that this move was going to happen one way or another.
Wonder if Coach V will be looked at for any openings or Norvell? Don't think any of our other coaches would be on any lists?
That means he may be our co defensive coordinator in 3 yrs.
Great for him, but Kentucky is a tough place to get it done at.

Stranger things have happened...you might be surprised.
My very good friend, an ex Big East head coach, had Butch Jones on his staff as a GA. He told me today that Jones turned the Kentucky job down......because it's a dead end.
This is worse than Mike Stoops trying to make it at Arizona. Tough Assignment.
Good point! Hell, I'd say Levenberry is ours now.
Here in Jacksonville, Fl one of the sports talk radio hosts is an FSU alum and follows the program closely, said that the coaches, boosters, and other people associated with FSU cant stand Jimbo and considers him a first class jerk. He says the person you see on TV is not the same guy when the cameras are rolling.

it'll be tough to take kentucky to the top of the sec, but considering the current state of the sec's bottom 6 it'll be an easy jump to the middle of the pack for a good coach.
