Forgive me if I have my doubts about whether or not you actually know what any of "these people" actually think.
You'll fill in that blank with whatever is convenient for you. That doesn't make your conclusions valid.
Meanwhile, regardless of how many self serving assumptions you make, the fact tremains that at the end of the day it's just a football game.
why don't you sya something about our coaching being wrong because apparently yo watch these games with ablindfold on jack!@#.
Woe. You must be really smart and mean and all the 12 year old girls are in love with you. Guess you showed that old has been coach. We are all really impressed. ROFLOL!!!,!!
"Just" a football game that you are explaining away on the internet after midnight. Funny stuff from a guy who writes a novel each week dissecting every college football game played. Pot, meet kettle.
I'm watching Oregon play Arizona and discussing football on a fan board. I write a post each week about each week's action because I enjoy doing so and I like the dicsussion that usually results. Does that level of activity, in your mind, equate to personally confronting the head coach in public to complain about how the team is playing?
yea. if I suck at my job customers, patients, clients, etc. let me know. And I don't make half his salary.
Not what I said. I agree that confronting a coach publicly is a bad idea. But you commenting that it is "just" a football game to try and make someone else look bad is laughable. It's clearly not "just" a football game to you, or anyone else that spends large amounts of their time on this board.
No BS, I wish I could have an outlook as constantly positive as yours when it comes to OU but the way you police opinions on here is just annoying. Make your argument, strongly if you want to. I actually agree with you on the calling the coach out in public thing. But if people want to make themselves look silly, let them. It's their right and their perogative. Just state your case for the argument and quit telling people how to think, even if it seems they are clearly wrong.

I think the only coaches that need to be replaced are those coaching the O line. I don't know how good Patton is, but Kittle OR SOME O LINE COACH NEEDS TO FURTHER HIS CAREER ELSEWHERE.
But as bad as the line is, if LJ can't play without panicking, he needs to sit.

I said that it is "just" a football game to illustrate why confronting a coach publicly is a bad idea.
For me, college football is a hobby, nothing more. I'm on here because I like to chat about it and discuss it. I don't like it when OU loses, but I'm not emotionally invested enough to be as negative as a lot of the posters seem to be on here. I think it is undeniable that most of the negative posts on here constitute little more than venting and strong emotional reactions. It is what it is.
I don't police anything on here. For me to police anything on here would require me to have some capacity to affect another poster in some way. I recognize that is not the case. If I see a post that I disagree with, I say so. If the person who posted it, or another poster who reads the exchange, sees it as policing, that's beyond my control, but I see the very notion as silly because seeing my posts as "policing" gives me an ability that I most certainly lack. The whole issue generally arises because the poster I'm responding to is to some degree emotionally invested and I am not combined with the tendency of most people to not like having their opinions challenged.
People often confuse a situation where someone does not agree with them or even offers criticism of something they have posted with some sort of policing effort, but that's a fallacy.
Well that was a waste of time. You could have saved yourself a lot of trouble and just said, "I believe I'm far smarter than you. Please refer to my countless prior condescending posts."
I have no idea whther or not I'm smarter than you. That post you referred to as a waste of time was a simple statement of my outlook on the issues you raised.
When I post on here I'm responding to what was written, not on who wrote it. I don't have any idea who any of these people actually are.
Agree, it's stunning how far our once feared LB prowess has dropped.
No, the real point is that your bravado shows your absolute lack of maturity. Think about it... You actually EXPECTED to engage coach in a public confrontation. Seriously? You and others were goading him and he knew it. Maturity and self-decipline allowed coach to 'hide' in his SUV. You all were child's play.
You've been a Stoops basher for as long as I can remember on this board. I don't know why or what it stems from, but please feel free to get over yourself.

No special teams blunders.
This is really sad. Some decent points are shouted down by the poster's own small dick syndrome.
Stoops answers to Boren an no one else. If you don't like that replace Boren.
Seriously not trying to pick a fight....but do you not see the irony here?
You didn't prove anything. I'm just done dealing with crap from condescending people like you and Matteon.
