That's who I am... a Sooner.
This story really blew up in a hurry. Glad to see that everything seems to be resolved. He also went on with "The Rush" today on KREF Sportstalk 1400.

Yes, lets hope organizations like NewsOK.com(aka The Oklahoman) can retract the crap they put out there like it is news. They need to tell their readers what TJ had to say. A lot of recruits need to hear this side of the story but I wonder if the damage has already been done.
"Well...that oughta hold 'em for the next decade or so..." - Barry Switzer
It wouldn't have spread like wild fire if it wasn't for the daily pokelahoman or WWLS. Total jokes and constantly unprofessional.
E) Not me. My comments regarding the untruthfulness of the report were logic based. At OU, Stoops has dismissed many a good talent for not doing things right.
None of this added up in the grand scheme of things. One, you don't play Jefferson if what Walter said was true. Two) you don't host recruits if you aren't a good steward of the University. Three) you don't get posterized to the media as a team leader if you haven't earned it.
Marcus Dupree was an example of OU standards in his tragic way, and Adrian Peterson is an example of the polar opposite. Stoops is no fool people.
If he never believed it, why did he make the tweets?
