With the exception of LB I think we signed some very good players at virtually all positions. Ford, imo, could be a superstar, probably the best RB we have signed since AD. I have not seen Ross play but I hear he is very good as well. Dimon, Ward, could be dominant players. Our QB is very good. If Byrd comes through along with the Savage and St. John I think this class will contribute a great deal.

Quality wise there's nothing wrong with our linebacker class. Quantity wise you may (or may not, depends who you ask) have a point.
Prepare to get flogged for this take. : )
I think it's a good class as well and depending on the last 2 could improve more. Great at QB and RB! Solid at WR. OL is likewise solid. Certainly OU lost out on higher ranked OL targets, but overall a good offensive class.
The D class is likewise solid with some potentially great upsides at DE and DT. Taylor and Byrd might be special. The size on the LB's is a concern...really need good weight on them, and need to "hit" on the DT's.
My overall take is OU has a good, solid class. On paper it's not as good as some past classes. Some recent classes have had 4-5 stars play like 2-3 stars...lets hope this class trends the other direction.
LB and DT remain priority areas for 2014.
Good but not great class. But the SEC lure is very strong and there is stronger competition for OU locally (Ok and TX) from okie lite, TCU and Baylor.
osu had a huge fail on this class. Losing Ross today was big. You would think if Chelf remains starter after Spring, the #3 QB (Walsh) would leave and they will be in a jam! No QB in this class.
I love this class. All coachable guys. Ford and Russell are HUGE gets. Byrd might be a great one also. DE's are going to be good.
