Since OU & Texas is the "BIG DOGS" of the Big12. What will be your take on BYU and Memphis joining the Big12? If the Big12 go back to 12 teams? I feel geography should play a role still. Or even one of the Mexico schools or even Louisiana Tech, I know many may feel Iowa State don't belong in the Big12

No and hell no.
Why?, especially when FSU and Clemson want those spots.
I would agree with you, but college football is run by money.. It's a sad thing to say
I think they is staying put with the add of Louieville, And a 50 million exit fee.
Well even if "they is" staying put the Big 12 is interested in quality not quantity. Adding those two teams would only weaken the conference and the Big 12 isn't interested in becoming like the Big 10. Ultimately though the ACC is going to fall apart though its only a matter of time and after Maryland gets out of the 50 million dollar buy out the door will be open for anyone else who wants to leave.
"With Nebraska trying to leave, we felt like we needed to send them out with a loss, and we did." -Ryan Broyles-
"What be y'all take?". Hahahaha too funny. Proper English appreciated!
UaB, you're on the wrong board.
Feel free to visit, but this thread is in the running for the most stupid thread ever on this board. Couple that with the fact that it is difficult to follow your thought.
You need to "Up your Game" or you will be blasted pretty good on this board.
Just curious, are you an Alabama fan or a Miami fan. I assume you are a Miami fan that lives in the Alabama. If so, which conference do you think Miami will end up in?
I'm a miami fan that live in alabama. We will stay put in the ACC for now, we just got to get back to what made us Miami, like the 1983 year, I think you know what im talkng about.
Agreeing with NCJIM here...
UaB, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here and I'm thinking (hoping) that your post containing almost incomprehensible english is a result of rapid typing and typos... otherwise, if you continue to post here, you're going to get flamed and ridiculed. Either way, I won't be one of those ridiculing you. However, it might serve you well to brush up on your English or take a little more time spell and grammar checking your posts. (This truly is not meant to be destructive criticism toward you. Rather, I only intend to help you represent yourself and your school(s) in a manner that I'm sure you'd rather represent).
It's hard typing on this smart phone, when am pressing the keys, it don't work sometimes. So I try to use my words, how I text, just to save time from keep trying to get the keys to work. Sorry about that, I understand what you mean.

I would love to see Florida State, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Miami come in but one could also add Boise and South Florida and reach the magic 16 number, which really helps with scheduling. One could divide a sixteen member conference in east and west, putting West Virgina and two of either Iowa State, Kansas and Kansas State in the east with the above five teams. Boise would play in the west with OU, osu, Baylor, TTech,TCU, ut, and two of the three teams from Iowa State, Kansas and Kansas State. I would think for football reasons, you would need to put K-state in the east. And for basketball reasons, put Kansas in the west. Teams would play seven in division games, have one traditional rival and play the other division teams on a rotating basis. I would suspect a ten-game schedule. I could see traditional rivals being: Kansas/K-State, T Tech/S Florida, osu/West Virginia, ut/Miami, OU/Fla State, Boise State/Clemson, TCU/Miami, and Baylor/Iowa State. A typical OU schedule would be: Baylor, TCU, Kansas, TTech, Fla State, osu, ut, Boise State, Kansas State and Clemson. Now that would be a schedule! That would bring in some TV money.
Kinda mean to make fun of someone who just came over to talk some realignment. Many here don't use proper grammar nor do they spell especially well, but we should be an accepting bunch when someone is not a flamer!
Thanks for stopping by!
I don't see any situation either fills out slots 11 & 12. FSU is about the only school with potential availability that could spark B12 expansion. They could be potential 15 or 15's though should that ever need to be the case.
Isn't 1983 when Miami beat Nebraska for the N.C.? Maybe you're referring to the 1985 OU v Miami game in Norman when Miami beat OU and Troy Airkman broke his leg.
They should join the sec. They would fit in with the teams in that conference.
Your correct, sorry about that. Miami will be on top soon, with this year coming up will make us half way there.

You mean drugs and thugs? Oh yes, I'm sure your university president will be thrilled to see that again, especially after that national embarrassment a few years ago when your entire team was involved in an on-field brawl that included Miami players swinging their helmets like clubs.
I can't say I expect to see that again. Maybe your team should think instead about just playing good football? Yes, I'm sure that's the best approach.
Isn't Miami on the cusp of Major NCAA sanctions due to the activities of a booster who now resides in prison? Something to do with payments, hookers etc.....So yea maybe UM is returning to its stellar rep of 1983.

You've got to be kidding me.
We took two bowl bans and a chance to play in the ACC title game. If that aint enough to clear our name then i'm lost. and another thing it's taking the ncca a very long time to come up with they is going to do with miami with a big story like that it the world meaning they dont have nunthin on UM... HOW ISIT A BIG STORY LIKE THAT ONE CAME OUT AND THE NCAA AINT CAME DOWN WITH SACTION
Kinda got the gist of what you said. Check out the USC scandal and how long it took to resolve - IMHO this is worse and the 1st shoe hasn't even dropped - Can you say death penalty?
Big-12 new addition
BYU is the best available option. I still think adding TCU and WVU were mistakes. Should've added 4 after losing 4. Could've done 2 west and two east, with BYU & AF(or someone else) and Pitt & Louisville/WVU. Or just 4 east with Louisville, Pitt, WVU and thrown the kitchen sink at VT, If they say no then Cincinnati.
