Heard 20 minutes ago from an OKC attorney close to the OU program that Venables contract has been sent to the Clemson Board for approval

Thanks BV but changes had to be made. If Bob was 100% happy with what was being done he would not have brought in Mike. Regardless of what people claim, Bob did that more because of results on the field not to get his brother at OU. Mike could have had any number of jobs.

That all may be true, but it's also true that Bob has been doing everything he can to keep Brent at OU.

I disagree.

As a friend it would be easy to encourage someone to go and take more pay and possibly advance their career.

I'm 100% certain that Bob wants Brent for football value reasons.

To suggest otherwise means you believe Bob is not acting in the spirit of what he believes is best for the program.

I'm confused.........I'm staying..........doesnt that mean "I'm staying at OU" ?

James is saying that it means he is staying with Clemson which doesn't make any sense unless he has already told them he would take the job.
