He is an official voter in the Harris Poll this year. Wow, this stuff is really messed up.

chip is a tennis player from michigan who went to smu. he's a good guy. his affiliation with the longhorns is a result of doing well as a sportswriter in dallas, not a result of being a homer.

I'm not even close to being his best friend, but that's not even close to the Chip I've talked to. I can only assume you've had personal experience with his character to the contrary.

Heck Schnelly, Bowden and Pinkel have been voting us down for years. Whats one more hater going to hurt??

It could be worse - the UT "homer voter" could be Robert Heard. He's the guy who writes garbage that includes the bogus notion that "we don't boo (opponents) at Texas" (they just drop f-bombs and key Oklahoma cars, but I digress). I read that awhile back when it was displayed at the old O'Connell's, during a 1980's OU-Texas weekend.

they actually cheer opponents quarterbacks when they are on the ground severely injured.
