Shows how the recruiting guru's are really "plugged" into who's going where.
No one had Ryan going before the 4th rd. What a joke. Many, including some on this board, have said that Ryan wasn't a good pro prospect because of size speed and knee.
Ryan is a second rd. pick and this is exactly where he should have gone. Would have been the one of the most underrated WR in the draft if he had gone in the 4th. Ryan does everything really well and competes harder than about anyone I've ever seen. I think if he goes injury free we'll see him have a career like Steve Largent.
SOOOOOOOOO happy for you Ryan...Now go kick some butt in the pro's and make a little dough why you're at it.

Sure...he said he reminded him of Tim Brown and that he thought he would be selected earlier in the draft. Also said he has great hands, runs crisp routes, and that he leads all NCAA receivers in receptions.

That's what worries me Southwest, the Lions are a GRAVEYARD of Sooner Greats!!! They've screwed many an Oklahoma boy's career up!!!! Damn!!! I'm glad he went this early but why couldn't he have gone somewhere else!!!

Okay whomever the gutless wonder who downvoted me...I said "I'm glad he went this early." Now, riddle me this; how was Billy Sims career with the Lions? How long was Steve Owens career? How about Teddy Lehman?
I'm ECSTATIC that Ryan went in the 2nd round- I JUST WISH IT WAS TO A TEAM W/ A BETTER TRACK RECORD!

Thank you Wes Welker for bringing attention to great slot receivers from the OKC area.
I don't care for Stafford, but this is probably the best situation in the entire league for Ryan. I really wish him the best.
