WOW! very sad.... in his day he was one of the best voices for OU and quite the staple in OU history.
RIP.. My prayers go out to the Barry family.
I'm hell when I'm well.. And, I am never sick!
Sad news, indeed! I had the pleasure of playing golf with Bob a few years back. He was a gentleman in every way, and one of the nicest men I ever met. My prayers go out to his family!
Bless his soul Lord and comfort and strengthen his family.
He was one of the good guys!

What a shock to read. I did not know the man other than from his broadcast and sports but I appreciated and loved him as a person and what he did for the university.
What a great statesman he was for the state of Oklahoma. Rest in peace, Bob.
Prayers go out for his family. He was indeed a legend of Oklahoma Sports.
I had to opportunity to meet Bob Sr, and was so impressed with his kindness and thoughtfulness. I know many bashed him his last few years, but he was a great icon for the Sooner Nation. We are less without him here, but Heaven is richer today.
My prayers and thoughts go out to his family. You will be missed.
Don't tell God about your mountain; tell your mountain about God!
Prayers for his family and friends.
