Anyone hear rumors about Herschel Sims and OsU?

Word over on Land Thieves is he stole the identity of another player and money from his banking account. All kinds of talk of Federal Investigations, dismissal from the program etc.
Sounds like he was going to be a good player for the pukes. Hopefully, it turns out to be false, but there sure is a lot of smoke about it. Why would kids risk their future like this if true for $700?

Heard pat jones talking about it on the sports animal. He said something was coming, but didn't elude to what.

We had a kid at Miami who once stole Jimmy Johnson's ID. It was the darndest thing by golly. Jimmy sent Wanstedt to talk to his momma.

Why would someone steal his ID? Nobody else has ever come close to resembling Johnson lol

News reported that he was dismissed from the team for stealing $700 from another student's bank account.

According to sims he and the other player had agreed that sims could borrow $700.00 and sims simply took the guys ID so he could get the money out of his account. When he was unable to play the guy back he went to the cops and said the money had been stolen by sims. Now to me none of that excuse makes a whole lot of sense but I'll bet to an aggie team desperate to stay relevent in the Big 12-2 it will allow sims to be put back on the team in the fall.
