I heard the Chicago Bears were immediately on the phone to HPD trying to figure out how they stopped AD.

If I was a psychic I could tell you just what took place. OK being you asked so nice I will give you my reading on this thing. First you had a cop that was moonlighting at a 2nd job after working 40 + hours on his regular job. It was Saturday night the club was busy the cops were tired but couldn’t go home until the club cleared out. AD goes up to the bar as they were leaving to get some water either for him or somebody in his party. The cop either doesn’t recognize AD or doesn’t care and tells him they are closed and to get his back-side out of the club. AD says I’m going I just need a glass of water. To which the cop says I told you to get out of here. AD says I heard you I’m not getting a drink I just need some water.
Then the cop lets five seconds of false courage almost ruin his whole life when he rushes forward to grab AD and AD holds his hand out to stop this guy rushing toward him. Running into AD is a lot like running into a brick wall and the cop bounces off him. The bouncer, which was nearby told AD let’s get out of here before there’s a problem and they start to walk away. The cop seeing AD walking toward the door ran after him and jumped on his back while screaming he was under arrest. Now you have to remember one thing here and that is cops are a lot like bikers in that when they see one of their own getting into it with somebody they don’t ask a lot of questions they just get into the fray whether the one that was in it was right or wrong. The other two cops got into the fray and AD was hooked and book.
There are a couple things that make me think that AD was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. One of those things is that none of the bouncers got into it with AD it was only the cops and it sounded like it was initiated by one cop and the others just got into it to help him. As for the bouncers it sounded like in one report that one of the bouncers was trying to get AD out of harm’s way. Second was the fact that none of the cops had to make a stop by the hospital afterwards. I don’t have a doubt in my mind that if AD was resisting and fighting with the cops some or all of them would be in the need of medical attention.
