zeeb, as I responded once before when the "where did you go to HS" question was posted, I definitely had Mrs. Stewart for my English teacher. As I remember, it was tough to make a real good grade in her class, but I made it through okay. She was your aunt, right.

My dad was on the polo team at OMA in the mid 40s. Sue Scott and Amy Stewart from Enid, class of 73. Swimming at Wentz Pool in Ponca. Pat Ryan from Putnam City.
And even I know Chico Phillips.

NCJIM, Mike Ringer was a fraternity brother of mine at OU. One heck of a nice guy. Also, had several engineering classes together. I ran into one of our fellow frat brothers on the beach in SPI earlier this year, and he told me Mike had some health issues. Sure hated to hear that.

I posted my grad year and alma mater earlier (Ardmore '76).
We had a guy who technically graduated with us who was the poster child for Prop 48 (which came along 10 years later). Guy's name was Freddie Hurd. He held the AHS season rushing record for about 15 years, then Rafeal Denson broke it. I think hit Ada for about 300 combined yards in two meetings that season in '75.
I liked Freddie, but I also don't believe he got his GED without a little "help." He signed with OU but was only in town for a few days. But, he did get the Oil Bowl records for Oklahoma earlier that summer, for longest run from scrimmage (84 yards) and yards in a game (166). I think those still stand for Oklahoma's teams.

2A FB State Champs - 1960 (championship game pitted two undefeated teams - NWC- vs Norman High -quarterbacked by Bud's son: Jay Wilkinson-- we won on a controversial play; live ball lateral picked up by Walt Lawson who ran for deciding touchdown)
OU '65 ( track letter: 63, 64, and 65: freshmen weren't eligible back in the stone ages )

woody, my wife graduated from NW Classen, class of '61, also. Her brother was class of '58. I graduated from Duncan, class of '57. Also, I had several fraternity brothers at OU from that '61 class.

No, we were at our condo in SPI and that's a long drive to OKC. But we did make it to the previous reunion a couple of years earlier.
