Where I want my ashes scattered.

  • I live in England right now, the dad of a friend of mine's urne is on the grounds of an English Football team West Ham. I saw it and said I want to be cremated and the place I want my ashes scattered is Owen Field of course. Can this be done? Hopefully this will be in about 50 years.

    I know morbid right.

  • I don't think so.

  • Tell your survivors to ask for forgiveness not permission and it should not be a problem.

  • It's in my instructions with my boss. Each of us in had to fill out a letter for our boss in the event things went south for us...Dont worry I have a WIll also....but in my letter I told them to scatter my ashes on Owen Field.

    Its a memorial stadium....I'm a vet...this shouldnt be a problem...

West Ham United wants to move to the new Olympic Stadium (which of course is being built for the 2012 summer games in London).

So will the urn be moved to the new grounds? Or were the ashes actually scattered on the pitch at Boleyn Ground?

  • Should have picked a better team than West Ham, thats like wanting your ashes spread at North Texas' stadium.

    I've made a huge mistake.

The urn is sitting near the gates at the front entrance. So I guess they will move it. Here is the area. Real small, so I'm thinking they only allow it for special fans. I keep telling my friend when is he going to take me to a real Premier league game, West Ham are going to get relegated. Die hard West Ham family, no way they are going to support another team if your father, Grandfather etc ashes are at the stadium.

OU on Teddy Bears hanging over my grandson's cradle. Future star QB.

  • I'd say this is possible. I have walked into the stadium before and could have walked onto the field. The person fulfilling your wishes would have to be sneaky and would risk grounds crew seeing it happen. Being on the sidelines is more plausible than on the 50 but there armed armed guards and it's far from Fort Knox especially during the off season.

  • Does anybody know of someone scattered at Owen Field?

  • If I ever decide to off myself, I'm gonna do it on the 50 yard line of Owen Field. Then I'm gonna come back and haunt all you bastards at the games.

  • I would really like for some moronic thieves to mistake my remains for drugs and try to snort/smoke them.

Or I am also thinking of having someone put them into the pepper shakers at a pizza place somewhere so everyone can eat me.

  • Just as long as you limit it to haunting, and you don't go on a drunken rant like you did after the OU vs. FLA National Championship game.

  • well i guess i'm not so inventive. i just want to be up in the rockies. the indians have a saying about a persons "power place" mine is definitely the mountains. i want to be at eternal rest watching the mountain being shredded by the best skiers and boarders:)

Or a nice golf course, like Augusta National. I guess it'd be better if it were a course that I actually played on though lol...

I used to 'date' a girl like her back in college....I literally think she may have been crazy. She was a good 1AM call, but you don't want to mix alcohol with that type! Very scary!

  • I would say it wouldn't be a problem. As long as its not a windy day.So if youre ever at a sooner game and get blasted by what feels like anonymous sand atleast you know who it is.
