Actually it's a remake of a Glen Campbell movie.

NYC/LA film critics. and let me choose a different word, if you don't mind. "stinks" doesn't convey what I intended to say very well. the movie very well may have good cinematography, story, acting, etc. But, I generally find that the movies they like I find distasteful.

I didn't know it was any of those things when I first saw the trailer. I thought it was "new" per say.
