Just a few scriptures for you, soonerprices since I find no reason to respond to the other guy.
You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Will your idle talk reduce men to silence? Will no one rebuke you when you mock? ... When you mock God, shouldn't someone make you ashamed?
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright. ... Fools mock at the guilt offering, but the upright enjoy acceptance.
Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts

You may find this hard to believe, but I cannot wish that upon anyone. Neither does God as He says, "He is not willing for any to perish but for all to come to the saving knowledge of the truth."
The fact of the matter is that each of us has the right and privilage to choose for himself. God respects that right and so must I. I have a brother that was a drug dealer and was murdered by one of his drug buddies. I spoke to him in depth about the Lord just a few weeks before he was killed. Since he was 30 and I was only 22 I was amazed that he would even listen and ask questions. I know it was God's divine appointment for him to come live with me for a couple of months prior to his untimely death, to give him every opportunity to choose salvation. He never said anything to me about doing so, but I could see that he was changed after hearing the truth.
I can only hope. Many times I have cried over this.
Even though I do not know you from Adam, I can say at this very moment I shed tears for you ! Most people here take me all wrong. I do not wish to condemn anyone. I speak against our common sinful nature for the purpose and hope of helping anyone who can receive it.
Sure, many sins are fun but they are deceitful because in the end they kill us. It does not matter if one could have lived his entire life in a morally superior way to the majority of men, the fact that he was born a sinner is his undoing. One sin or million sins does not matter. God says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But He also says he has paid the price with His own blood for the redemption of any and all who will accept it.
Jesus is the King of peace. He personally paid the price to restore peace between all men and God as well as peace among all men. The former is possible now while the latter peace only in measure, for now.
So no, soonerdm I am grieved at anyone who rejects this offer of peace. I hope and pray that you and all who read these words of mine will realize what I say here are actual words of life.

Sorry, I don't watch SNL . Haven't in many years anyway. I don't need cheap external fixes like that. I have a joy and a peace beyond what the world can offer.
Besides, I have a serious mission considering the eternal consequences, wouldn't you agree ? I have a good sense of humor. I used to be quite the clown. Being older now I have experienced the loss of too many friends and family to not be concerned about these things any longer.
What's more, there are riches in Christ which I could not begin to cause you to understand so that even when being insulted I am filled with glory. Just as it is written, "If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you."
I'd rather appeal to people based upon the great things we gain in Christ rather than to focus on the sin and forgiveness aspect but that is even less effective because no one can believe. It's much easier to believe that we are sinners and that Christ has offered redemption than it is to convince someone that it is better to give than to receive or that you are blessed when you are insulted for Christ. It is impossible for someone to believe that you can have joy and peace and satisfaction apart from personally favorable external circumstances. These are facts but there is no way to convince anyone short of perhaps their seeing these things in a healthy Christian.

Peace...
