I pray for you. But calling Christians idiots and mocking is only making you look like an idiot. Whether you believe or not, mocking Him is uncalled for. Just remember, its never to late and he loves us all, even people like yourself. He lives.

This is a board for opinions about OU Sports and we often get into lively debates with differing opinions about OU Sports.

This is the wrong place for Religion and Politics, but if you must post about your religious or political views, you should expect some differing opinions, maybe even some insults.

Poster Beware.... If you post, you must be prepared for differing opinions. I disagree with many things that Tyree has said, but he has every right to say it. Any religion that can't accept differing opinions or be accepting of other non-christian religions, doesn't sound like a religion I can have much respect for.

There was a time in America when the wrong color skin meant you weren't as good as other people. Is being a Christian a pre-requisite to being good enough to post on this board?

Personally, I have a strong preference not to see Religion and Politics on this board.

Tyre, I'm sorry for calling you names. I let my emotions get the better of me. It's hard for me to see people waste the greatest gift ever given to man. But, I apologize.

He has risen indeed!!!

The title of the post is He Has Risen and obviously I can see the title, I have no issue with James post of "Happy Easter", because it is Easter, much the same as Kwanzaa is Kwanzaa or Hanukkah is Hanukkah. He Has Risen is a based on a very specific religious belief, held only by Christians, much like other opinions found in the Quran or the Tanakh that differ from that belief.

Can you imagine how many negative responses I would get if I posted a Thread called, "HE HAS NOT RISEN"? Would the Christians on the board just blow it off and not respond? Of course not, I would get blasted, but He Has Not Risen is a belief that is held my the majority of people on this planet. My point is that religious beliefs, nor politics, belong on this board. Nothing good can come from it.

Since I am paying for access to an OU sports site, I don't think it is appropriate that I be exposed to, or be made to feel like a second class citizen, because I don't share the religious beliefs of other OU Fans, or based on the posts, the majority of readers on this site.

By the way, I'm Presbyterian, but I am respectful to all religions, even atheists. OU is not a Catholic University and it accepts all religions or lack thereof as does the United States of America. I have no need for other people to pray for me and I don't need to force my beliefs on other people.

Your right, today is a Great Day for believers and worshipers, I just think this is the wrong place to worship and if you feel you must, be a good enough person to be respectful of different opinions.

Why don't you go over to the "Happy Easter" post that James started and tell him what a moron he is for believing in Christ. You know by saying "Happy Easter" he is also saying praise God and all his glory. Easter IS our God believing holiday.

To me, it's very sad to watch you embarrass yourself like this over and over...We all now know you don't believe and this Jesus thing is all so absurd. But what if you're wrong.? Consequences are massive, but at least you wont have anyone to fight with anymore, right?. Many Many like you have lived a life here on earth and on their death bed thought "Man what if I'm wrong"?

Also, do you hate Landry, R Broyles and 90% (guess) of the football players for taking Christ into their lives? Do you resent all of them. Are they all a joke to you? If they are you might become an LSU fan...(that's a Joke to all the LSU fan's, I think LOL) You'll more in your element.

Remember we're not better than you for believing in Christ and you're not better than us for not. But you seem to be a Hater and that's what's so sad.

If you are correct what happens to me..... But if I am correct what happens to you.... But all have fallen short of the mark but believing (confessing) is what saves the believers.
