When children say they believe in someone no one can see, and they say their "friend" talks to them we tell them they have a make believe friend but when adults do the very same thing the adults get to call it " god"
The other poster said "jesus" is the reason I am here and I retorted ( that means I answered him, not sure how smart you are so sorry for using big words like retorted) that evolution WAS the reason he was here and evolution has nothing to do with a god but is just life finding its own way and the most adaptable species surviving..

You are not a bad person just logical and that is Good!!
So if you went to a grave and a stone in front of it had been rolled away and the body gone would you not believe that someone "stole" the body, instead of automatically thinking someone had come back to life?
That would be the story that is believable not that a person that could not stop his own death at the hands of mere humans would rise from the dead and then show himself to no one except the ones that would have the most to gain from spreading the falsehood.
Think of all the senseless non sense in the world that could have been avoided if jesus had just stayed at the grave site with the stone rolled away and then had shown himself to who showed up.
Just food for thought..

If you don't believe, that is your business. But these people aren't starting a religious debate (you're the one doing that). They are simply trying to celebrate the event upon which their faith is based.

Evolution is a theory. THAT is your argumet. So is Gravity and yet i bet you believe in that. They can celebrate their faith other places. I can strongly disagree with them as they CHOSE to make it public.
If I had started a post celebrating the birth of the founder of atheism these same people would be posting that my post would have no place on this chat site and they would be correct.
Take their celebration somewhere else because it offends many people that think for themselves..
