It's perfectly fine for you to troll my posts, eh and high jack them but you don’t seem to like it nearly so well when someone provides an opposing truth to your religion of psychology and philosophy.
These are false religions in the sense that they are deeply held beliefs that you incorporate into your life for your betterment and development, which in contrast to that we have the true way of development which is the Son of God, the one who created us all.
For some reason you do not want to debate your BELIEFS, you only want people to agree with you and say how wonderful are the insights of you and other men. Psychology, philosophy and cultural refinement have been around for centuries and yet just look at the world today and see how effective it is…NOT. The human race is a total and complete failure entirely inept at dealing with all the his propensities in corruption and sins.
Throughout human history there have been very few who have achieved a relative state of true refinement and moral integrity such as Confucius, but they as he, led a very strict and extreme lifestyle so as to achieve what they did. The trouble with these few is that they still were not perfected and still will suffer punishment because they rejected God’s way and defiantly chose their own way and still died in their sins. What ever they did achieve was left behind at the grave.
Now then we have the advancement and propagation of self help and psychological and therapeutic help from people who are not aware of all the complex intricacies of the human soul and heart, who based upon their shallow and superficial observances wish to claim some kind of real and substantial help. Most of the time people are hurt and not helped at all by this junk. You want to know why ? It does not and cannot even touch the deepest parts of the heart and soul and does not even address the spirit as well. We are tripartite beings; body , soul and spirit. In addition to this we have the function of the heart which is a composite of the three parts of the soul (mind, will and emotions) along with one part of the spirit (conscience). We also have a very negative element within our persons which we Christians know to be the flesh or the sin nature. This corruption is in the body but it also has migrated into the inner man of the soul mutating it into the SELF. These are foreign elements which if not dealt with, can never be overcome. The best your religion of psychology can do is to make observations so as to “motivate” them by the activity of the emotions and the will to mask this sinful nature. Man has also identified pharmaceuticals which are also able to offer another type of masking effect but these have side effects and still do not cure the problems. These only subvert the symptoms just like taking cough medicine.
Only God has the final and true solution in Jesus Christ the new and perfect man. First God has to address the very negative elements of the sin nature in the body and the SELF in the soul, and change the dead heart of stone into living flesh. The only effective way of dealing with the flesh and the SELF unfortunately is through death. This is why Jesus said you must die to self and take up your cross. When we are baptized into Christ we make His objective and all inclusive death our own. The cross is needed continually to keep the flesh and the SELF dead and subjugated to God in our spirit.
From there God can begin to dispense the new and perfect man of Christ into our whole being transforming us into conformity to Jesus. This whole and complete salvation is a lengthy one as it involves many things such as purging, purifying, refining, sanctifying, transforming and etc.
This is the condensed version but the point is, this is man’s only true help while you wish to offer a cheap substitute. Why would you think you can offer your weak and limited self help methods and yet say I cannot offer mine? Why can you refute and denigrate me for mine but hold yourself to a different standard, especially considering yours is no real help in the end anyway ?
