Bob Funk's house was teh biggest house in Oklahoma in 1997 when it was built (about 35,000 sf). At the time the second largest house belonged to Drew Braum, from Braum's Ice Cream. I'm not sure if someone has gone bigger than Bob's Piedmont mansion.

Yes the Italian style villa. I found on the web that Bush visited that house when he was in office for some rally.

That house at Sooner & Britton is about 14,000 square feet and owned by the guy that is the local distributor for Anheuser-Busch...........

A few months ago while passing this house my nephew told us that it is where "Mr. Budweiser" lives.

We supplied and installed some materials in the Hibdon house when it was being built between Newcastle and Tuttle.
It was 26,000 Sq ft and took several years to complete.
I don't know how many contractors/ home builders they went through but it was more than two.
I went on the site several times, and once, the entire back yard was full of granite (3" thick) enough to make all their tables, all their counters and most of the floors.

There was supposed to be a party for all contractors when it was finished but, if it happened, my invite got lost in the mail.

Interesting thing about the house: Only 8 rooms.

I can remember about 25 years ago a huge house was being built by a farmer out in the middle of nowhere between Inola and Chouteau. I think it was on old Hwy 88. Anyone remember this one?
