ss182 - back when we lived west of Mena at the foot of the Ouachita Mountains, I believe it was you that I responded to about three years ago about autumn colors on the Talimena Drive. Well, I've been waiting those same three years for an autumn that I could report was worth driving down to see. Unfortunately, each of the last three autumns has been abysmally indifferent as far as beautiful fall colors. The fall before your request was outstanding for color and I got some great pics - but isn't that always the way!

Sounds like you could have your hands quite full (both literally and figuratively) this fall, but if the fall colors come through, I will post it. Early reports from the weather service are that they are not expecting great colors again this fall due to extremely hot weather.

I wish, 40 weeks and 4 days today! I have a Dr appt. in a few to make sure all is still good. The longer overdue you are the more monitoring you get to do (lucky me)! I do have a really cute pink OU hat for her to wear if she ever gets here. :)

Thanks, all is well. I just need to stay patient. Next appt. is Sept. 1, maybe she just thinks it's too hot to come in August! :)
