Sooners Slide to 12 in BCS

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma slid to No. 12 in both the latest Coaches and Harris Polls released Sunday following a 30-13 loss to No. 4 Notre Dame in Norman. The Sooners (5-2 overall, 3-1 Big 12) were ranked No. 14 in the latest Associated Press Poll, falling six spots from No. 8.

The Big 12 was represented by four teams in the AP Poll (No. 3 Kansas State, No. 14 Oklahoma, No. 20 Texas Tech and No. 23 West Virginia). The Coaches and Harris Polls included those four plus Texas and Oklahoma State in the Top 25.

OU resumes Big 12 Conference play next Saturday (Nov. 3) in Ames against the Iowa State Cyclones. The game will kick at 11 a.m. and will be televised by ABC.
