NORMAN, Okla. — Two members of OU’s 2014 class are now officially on board, as OU signed tight end Isaac Ijalana and linebacker Devante Bond Wednesday morning on the first day of the early signing period for mid-year JUCO enrollees.
Ijalana, who recommitted the other day after de-committing from his first verbal commitment, is a 6-foot-5, 235-pound three-star with a 0.8363 rating in the 247 Composite.
The L.A. Pierce product is the No. 134 overall JUCO player, No. 6 tight end and 39th-ranked player in the state of California.
Bond, who comes from Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif., is a 6-foot-3, 230-pound backer also with a three-star rating at 0.8403 in the 247 Composite.
He comes in as the No. 124 overall player, No. 7 linebacker and 35th-ranked player in California.
Both are set to arrive for spring ball.
The Sooners now await word on whether or not offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola will sign with them.
