Top 100 receiver chooses Sooners

NORMAN, Okla. — The Sooners have landed their third wide receiver for the 2014 class, and it’s a big one.

Desert Mountain HS wide out Mark Andrews, a four-star and the No. 91 player in the country in the 247 Composite, has pledged to the Sooners while on his second unofficial visit and will attend college where his brother is attending medical school.

Said Andrews on Twitter: “Just committed to Oklahoma university couldn’t be more excited for my future to come! Thanks for all who have supported me!”

Andrews, who boasts a 0.9527 rating in the 247 Composite, is the No. 12 wide receiver in the country and third ranked player in Arizona.

He joins Dallis Todd and Jeffery Mead as receivers for the class.

Andrews is the 12th commitment for the 2014 class.

And he raises the class seven spots to No. 27 with its 175.34 point total, sitting just a couple points out of the Top 25.
