Probably won't happen, OU will take 6 more Safties?

I am concerned if A&M starts off SEC play with a convincing win over Florida.

All you hear is how Missouri and A&M will get their heads handed to them in the SEC. Folks, the SEC does not see offenses like Missouri with Franklin and a lot of good receivers running all over hell's half acre in Columbia at night in drizzly cold and yes, they have good environs to see games in the SEC, but I believe our ex OC, Sumlim, is going to shock at least someone they should not beat in the SEC West. Yes, that includes Alabama, LSU, or Arkansas or more than one of the three.

Every time Sumlin wins a game in the SEC, and for that matter, Missouri, their argument about why recruits should consider them only gets stronger. Combine that with OU looking like stumblebums last Sat night and the tide starts turning the other direction.

I know people don't want to hear that, but our coaches need to get on the recruitin' trail hard, real hard, and when they play a flea bitten dog like UTEP, they clean them up and leave no doubt. This Saturday, the second part of the equation commences. OSU's game last week, combined with KSU's 4th quarter massacre of Missouri State and Texas beating Wyoming into mush need to be the standard. Additionally, if OU is up 50 by half this Sat night, it is time for Stoops to allow the offense to shuttle in new players and allow them to run the offense rather than run between the tackles.

I can write off UTEP as an opening game faux pax, but it needs to end starting this weekend. We need to whale the tar out of every opponent every week. They cannot leave their fate to being undefeated. Yes, we can eliminate KSU, UT, WVA, and OSU from that list personally, but we should not take for granted at the end of the season, some combination of Alabama (or LSU or Arkansas), Clemson, FSU, USC, Oregon, or Ohio State is not going to be undefeated also. Dropping any game or struggling against the likes of Tech, Baylor, Kansas, Notre Dame, etc. is just not going to sell if OU is the third or fourth undefeated team after UTEP.
