How is coach Stoops supposed to keep a eye on all of the players 24/7. With kids missing class to getting popped on a piss test. The players have to take the resposibilty to get to class and not do drugs.

The main problem with players being undiciplined in their lives is that football is a highly disciplined game everyone needs to do their part on each play and each undiciplined action could result in a bad result. so when players are undiciplined off the field it carries over to the field and it also spreads and then players become lax in preparation which leads to breakdowns.
I would rather be 9-4 going in the right direction with attitude than 11-2 going south and selling our souls to for talent like the SEC does...

It's not like we are a military school. Some people on an 85 man roster are just bound to screw up. That's all there is to it. Every team has these guys.
