Four-technique Courtney Garnett is visiting OU this weekend, and he's excited for the trip.
This is a bit off topic, but I have found it really interesting to read interviews with recruits since we've beaten Bama. Its great they all think that OU is heading back and is now going in the right direction since the win. However, I think that's a pretty good measuring stick for the perception of the program prior to the win. Simply amazing what one victory can do.
The entire interview sounds very promising. I was curious until the very end if family will be making the visit. Good to hear they will be here also. The Norman campus is beautiful with the atmosphere and commitment by the university community that will allow Mr Garnett to reach his potential both academically and on the football field. Boomer!

I've wanted this guy for awhile, never really felt OU had a shot.
Montgomery has done a great job getting this kid and his parents on the same page about Oklahoma.
he goes to tennessee jan 24th. they have 33 commits so far. where do they get the room for more unless a few commits won't qualify. is his parents going on that trip?
How is he coming along on qualifying? Horns have been vocal that there are issues there...
Any concerns with eligibility?
Sometimes a win like the sugar bowl can change the whole perception of a team. Stoops had OU consistent every year but OU lost its appeal to the top recruits. Now OU seems to have juice in recruiting again.
